Steve “Slug” Russell was born on January 1st, 1937 in Massachusetts. He went to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at Dartmouth College and became a computer scientist. As a computer scientist, Steve had wrote the first two versions of LISP (a high level computer programming language devised for list programming). In 1862, Steve Russell and his team made one of the first games ever written on a computer. The game was called: Spacewar! This game showed the advancement in computers and technology.
